How to Redeem Mystery Gift Codes

Mystery Gift redemption in Pokemon Champions is accessed through the main menu. Tap the menu icon in the top right corner, select Gifts from the navigation list, and tap the Redeem Code button at the top of the Gifts screen. A text input field will appear. Enter the code exactly as provided, including any hyphens or capitalization as specified in the source. Tap Confirm and the game will validate the code and add the reward to your inventory or display an error if the code is invalid or expired.

Codes are case-insensitive in the current version of Pokemon Champions, so typing in uppercase or lowercase produces the same result. However, spaces before or after the code string can cause a validation error, so ensure you have not accidentally included leading or trailing spaces when entering codes manually. If copying and pasting from a website or message, paste the code into the field and delete any extra whitespace before confirming.

After a successful redemption, the reward appears in a confirmation screen showing what you received. Pokemon received through Mystery Gift are deposited directly into your Pokemon Storage in an available box slot. Items are added to your item bag. If your storage is full, the game will prompt you to make space before delivering the Pokemon. Free up storage slots before redeeming Pokemon distributions to avoid this interruption.

Each Mystery Gift code is redeemable once per account. Codes entered on an account that has already used them display an Already Redeemed message. Sharing codes with others after claiming them will not work since the code is marked as redeemed on your account and the other player must use the original source to find and enter the code independently on their own account.

Where to Find New Mystery Gift Codes

The official Pokemon Champions Twitter and Instagram accounts are the primary distribution channels for public Mystery Gift codes. Codes released through social media typically accompany major game milestones such as launch anniversaries, player population benchmarks, and seasonal event launches. Following the official accounts and enabling post notifications ensures you receive codes in real time before they expire.

Official livestream events on the Pokemon Champions Twitch and YouTube channels distribute codes during or immediately after the broadcast. These codes are often shared in the stream chat for a limited window of a few hours during and after the stream. Watching archived VODs of past streams does not provide working codes as stream-exclusive codes expire quickly and are invalidated within 24 to 48 hours of distribution.

Tournament and esports events in the Pokemon Champions competitive circuit distribute exclusive codes to attendees and sometimes to viewers through official broadcast partnerships. The World Championship Series live event each season includes attendee-exclusive code drops on physical cards distributed at the venue, while viewer codes for the online audience are shared through official broadcasting partners during the event.

Fan sites and community hubs aggregate active codes as they are reported by community members. The Pokemon Champions subreddit maintains a pinned megathread updated daily with verified active codes and their known expiration dates. These aggregations are community-managed and may occasionally include expired codes from users who did not update their reports, so always verify directly in-game after finding a code through a community source.

Mystery Gifts TL;DR

Currently Active Mystery Gift Codes for 2026

The following codes are active as of the publication date of this article and have been verified in-game by our team. Codes expire on their listed dates and may deactivate earlier if the intended distribution volume is reached. CHAMPIONS2026 provides a bundle of 50 Pokeballs, 10 Great Balls, 5 Ultra Balls, and 3 Timer Balls and expires December 31, 2026. This welcome bundle was distributed at the Season Eight launch and remains active for the full season.

MEGAMONDAY provides a random Mega Stone from a pool of six common stones including Ampharosite, Heracronite, Pinsirite, Houndoominite, Banettite, and Manectite. The code expires on March 31, 2026, and was distributed through the official social media accounts during the Mega Monday promotional campaign in January. Each redemption grants one randomly selected stone from the pool.

VELVETARENA provides the exclusive Velvet Arena background cosmetic for your trainer card and battle arena and expires June 30, 2026. This cosmetic was shared by the official account to celebrate the one-year anniversary of the Arena Mode feature. SPRINGCHAMPIONS provides a Cherish Ball, 5 Rare Candies, and a special event-exclusive Vivillon with the Spring Form pattern available only through this distribution. It expires May 31, 2026.

HOMECOMING2026 provides 3 Premier Balls and a Gold Bottle Cap, which can be used at the Hyper Training facility to set one IV to 31 on any Pokemon. This code was distributed to players who linked their Pokemon Home accounts during the Home Sync promotional period and expires April 30, 2026. Community-discovered codes sometimes appear in this space between official announcements; the community tracker linked in the sources section maintains the most current verified list.

Past Valuable Distributions Worth Trading For

Some of the most valuable past Mystery Gift distributions are no longer available through codes but the distributed Pokemon and items remain tradeable through the Player Exchange. The most sought-after past distribution is the Mythical Zarude from the Rogue Jungle event, which was distributed with a Cherish Ball and a custom ribbon marking it as an event Pokemon. Event-marked Pokemon often carry cosmetic prestige value beyond their competitive use.

The Shiny Zeraora distributed during the Ultra Event Season holds the highest trade value of any Mystery Gift Pokemon in Pokemon Champions history. With a Cherish Ball, perfect IVs, and the event-exclusive Plasma Fists tutor move at enhanced base power, Shiny Zeraora commands multi-item trade offers in the Exchange. Several hundred copies enter the Exchange each month from players who received it during the event and no longer need it.

The Jirachi with Doom Desire distributed as part of the Wishing Star campaign is relevant for players building Trick Room teams because Jirachi has access to Follow Me in Pokemon Champions, a move not available through normal gameplay. This combination makes the event Jirachi uniquely positioned as a doubles support Pokemon. The Exchange sees consistent demand and supply for this distribution.

Tracking past valuable distributions helps you plan trade acquisitions. Community wikis maintain comprehensive archives of every Mystery Gift event in Pokemon Champions history with photos of the original announcement, the items distributed, and current Exchange market prices for tradeable copies. Using this archive when building specialized team compositions ensures you are aware of potentially relevant event Pokemon before finalizing your team structure.

Maximizing Mystery Gift Value

Redeeming every available code as soon as possible rather than hoarding them is the optimal strategy because codes expire and missed codes cannot be recovered after expiration. Set up code tracking by bookmarking the community megathread and checking it at least once per week. The few minutes required to check and redeem active codes consistently yields significant free item value over the course of a season.

Mystery Gift Pokemon often arrive at level 50 with fixed IVs and specific movesets designed for competitive play, making them immediately viable in ranked without any additional EV training beyond assigning EVs in the training facilities. Check the delivered Pokemon summary on redemption to confirm whether EVs need adjustment for your intended use case.

Some Mystery Gift Pokemon arrive with moves not accessible through TMs or breeding in the current game version, making them uniquely powerful for specific strategies. Before trading away a Mystery Gift Pokemon, verify whether it has any exclusive moves that add to its value. Exclusive moves are indicated by a small star icon next to the move name in the Summary screen.

Codes distributed at major events sometimes carry additional bonus value for players who redeem them within a limited early window. The first 10,000 redemptions of a major anniversary code, for example, have historically received a bonus Gold Bottle Cap alongside the standard reward. Being an early redeemer on major code releases maximizes the total value captured from each distribution.
