Three Sets, One Release Date: June 1 2026
LEGO has pulled back the curtain on its Spider-Man Brand New Day wave, three sets tied to the upcoming Marvel film, all launching on June 1 2026. The lineup covers a range of price points from $49.99 to $99.99, making it easy to jump in at different levels without committing to the full wave at once.
The sets do more than sell bricks. They double as early film spoilers, confirming which villains are showing up in Brand New Day before the movie hits. Tombstone's presence in the Prison Transport Chase is one of the clearest character confirmations the set reveals, and the Hulk appearing as a major set centrepiece suggests a significant fight sequence in the film.
Pre-orders are already live on LEGO.com depending on your region. All three sets are available to order now ahead of the June 1 street date.
Three sets launch June 1 2026 tied to the Spider-Man Brand New Day film
76349 Spider-Man Prison Transport Chase ($49.99)
The entry-level set in the wave is the Prison Transport Chase, priced at $49.99 USD. It ships with four minifigures: Spider-Man, Tarantula, Tombstone and a DODC Guard.
Tombstone is one of the more exciting inclusions here. He has been a long-requested villain in the LEGO Marvel lineup and his appearance in this set all but confirms he has a significant role in the Brand New Day film.
The DODC (Department of Damage Control) Guard inclusion continues LEGO Marvel's trend of filling out the wider MCU world beyond just the headline heroes and villains. For collectors building out a broader Marvel roster, these supporting character figures add real value to a set.
76350 Spider-Man vs Hulk Epic Clash ($89.99)
The mid-tier set is the most minifigure-dense of the three, coming in at $89.99 with six characters: Spider-Man, The Hulk, Scorpion, Tarantula, Boomerang and a Hotdog Vendor. That Hotdog Vendor is the kind of civilian detail LEGO Marvel does well, adding a street-level New York flavour to the scene.
The Hulk as a major centrepiece is an interesting choice for a Spider-Man set. It suggests the film features a substantial crossover moment between the two characters, or at minimum a set piece large enough to justify a dedicated build with breakaway sections.
Scorpion and Boomerang rounding out the villain roster adds two more confirms to the film's cast. Along with Tombstone from the smaller set, Brand New Day is shaping up to have a significant multi-villain lineup.
76346 Spider-Man Buildable Figure ($99.99)
The standout set in the wave is the Buildable Spider-Man Figure at $99.99. LEGO describes it as a scaled-down version of the Iron Man Buildable Figure approach, featuring full articulation across multiple joints.
The figure can be posed for web-slinging, crouching, sitting and a range of dynamic action positions. For display purposes this is the set collectors will want most, as a well-posed Spider-Man figure reads as art rather than just a toy on a shelf.
At $99.99 it is the priciest of the three but also the most display-forward. If you are only picking up one set from this wave for a shelf, the Buildable Figure is the one.
Villain Reveals and What They Mean for the Film
The combined minifigure roster across all three sets confirms Tombstone, Scorpion, Boomerang and Tarantula as Brand New Day villains. That is a dense lineup of classic Spider-Man rogues appearing in a single film, suggesting the story leans into the comics-style multi-threat format.
LEGO sets tied to Marvel films often reveal character appearances months before a film's release. The studio and LEGO work together on these sets, so the character inclusions are generally accurate rather than speculative.
For fans of the deeper Spider-Man comics bench, seeing Boomerang and Tombstone on screen in the same film is genuinely exciting. Both are characters who have been requested in live-action for years.
