LEGO Jurassic World Goes Big This Summer
LEGO's Jurassic World Summer 2026 wave is one of the most ambitious lineups the theme has produced, with seven sets spread across three release windows and a flagship Jeep Wrangler build that reaches nearly 2,000 pieces. The wave launches in stages from May through August 2026.
The headline attraction is the 77984 Jurassic Park Jeep Wrangler, a 1,924-piece set that functions as a 4-in-1 model, buildable as four different Jeep variants bearing the numbers 10, 29, 18 or 12. For fans of the original 1993 film, the ability to recreate specific hero vehicles from the movie is a compelling hook.
The wave pairs creature-focused sets with vehicle and fossil builds, covering multiple corners of the Jurassic Park and Jurassic World franchise rather than leaning entirely into one era.
77984 Jeep Wrangler 4-in-1 (1,924 pieces, $199.99) launches May 7 and builds four different Jeep variants

77984 Jeep Wrangler 4-in-1: The Star of the Wave
The 1,924-piece Jeep Wrangler launches May 7 2026 at $199.99. The 4-in-1 functionality is the key selling point, letting builders recreate all four of the iconic Jurassic Park tour vehicles rather than committing to just one.
This level of fan service is rare in a LEGO set at this price point. Usually you get one version of a vehicle and that is it. The ability to switch between four numbered variants means the set has replay value beyond the initial build, and gives collectors a reason to own it even if they already have other Jurassic Park Jeep sets.
At $199.99 it is a significant investment, but 1,924 pieces at that price is a reasonable ratio, and the 4-in-1 gimmick adds value that does not show up in a raw piece count.

77985 Triceratops Fossil and the Mosasaurus Set
The 77985 Dinosaur Fossils Triceratops (1,154 pieces, $109.99) launches June 1 and follows on from the well-received T-Rex Fossil set. Fossil builds have proven popular with adult LEGO fans who want something display-worthy that does not require existing knowledge of the Jurassic franchise.
The skeletal aesthetic works particularly well at the LEGO scale, and a Triceratops fossil has more visual complexity than a T-Rex due to the distinctive frill and three horns. This one should look impressive on a shelf for anyone into natural history as well as film fans.
The 77983 Mosasaurus Dinosaur Boat Attack ($99.99, 703 pieces) is the most dramatic set in the wave visually. A massive moulded Mosasaurus attacking a boat is exactly the kind of set that photographs well and works as a display piece for fans of the Jurassic World film era specifically.
The Smaller Sets: August 2026 Wave
Four smaller sets drop August 1 2026 to round out the summer lineup. The 77982 Spinosaurus Escape ($74.99, 820 pieces) delivers a brick-built Spinosaurus, one of the most requested dinosaurs in the theme given its prominence in Jurassic Park III.
The 77981 Velociraptor, Stegosaurus and Pteranodon Rescue ($49.99, 171 pieces) packs three dinosaurs into an accessible price point. For younger builders or parents looking for a dinosaur set that is not a major commitment, this is the easiest entry in the wave.
The 77978 Young T-Rex Transport Truck ($29.99, 115 pieces) and 77977 Baby Pteranodon ($24.99, 373 pieces) round out the lineup at the lowest price points. These work as gift sets or add-ons for existing Jurassic World collections.
When to Buy Each Set
If the Jeep Wrangler is your priority, mark May 7 in your calendar. It is the earliest release in the wave and the one most likely to sell through quickly given its 4-in-1 appeal and the 1993 film nostalgia it taps into.
The Triceratops Fossil on June 1 is the strongest display buy for adults. It pairs naturally with the T-Rex Fossil set if you already own that one, and a side-by-side display of both would be a significant centrepiece for any LEGO fan or natural history enthusiast.
The August sets are best treated as secondary pickups once you have secured the flagship pieces. The Mosasaurus and Spinosaurus sets are strong on their own but lower urgency than the May and June releases.
